surmise living in a place where youre not allowed to speak your own language. Imagine you cant wear your countrys color or use your birth name. This is what my grandparents went through when they were in Spain.
My grandparents verbalise Basque and they were living in Spain so it was forbidden to speak Basque, so they spoke Spanish. If they wore their countrys colors and people byword them and told the dictator, they would be put in prison. If they had a Basque name, theyd assume to change it to a Spanish name.
At that time they had a dictator. The dictator would dictate how, when and where they did things, where they choked, and how they lived. My grandparents decided that they needed to be free, so they immigrated to America where theyd live their life with granting immunity. To me, Spain is the exact diametrical of freedom.
I dont only think of this story, save I also think of the declaration of independence and the measuring stick of rights. We are so lucky to have been given those by our fore fathers.
When I heard nearly that story, how Spain had a dictator, and about what our fore fathers did for us, I thought wow! Were so lucky to have these great leaders. We should protect and appreciate our freedom by electing more great leaders. We are so joyful to be able to choose what church and place we live and serve
