World History


The Enlightenment is a new talented movement that stressed reason, thought, and the power of individuals to solve problems. It was also know as the Age of Reason, the movement reached its height in the mid-1700s and brought great change to many aspects of western civilization. Enlightenment scientists and thinkers challenged doddering ideas and revolutionized science, the maneuvers, regimen, and religion. The three that most influenced the youthful daytime are the arts, science, and government of the enlightenment era.
The arts that aroused from the Enlightenment directly influenced current art movements. The port baroque which was characterized by a grand, rhetorical design dominated European art in the 1600s and proterozoic 1700s. Much like the palace of Versailles from digest then this hyphen is still alive in the lavish homes of rich, famous people. and so the style neo perfect, which was a simple and elegant style that borrowed ideas and themes from sheer Greece and Rome, aroused in the late 1700s. This style was seen in the buildings of back then and now its seen in government structures.



The style of music also changed from dramatic organ and choral music, overmuch like the composers Johann Sebastian Bach and George Friedrich Handel, into a new, lighter, and more elegant style known as classical. The three most famous classical composers are Franz Joseph Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Ludwig van Beethoven. All of these composers are still listened to these day and age, and without them we wouldnt have most and/or all our modern music. Writers from this era also developed new styles and forms of literature. One of the styles that arose were novels, which were long works of prose fiction. These books were popular with a middle-class audience and these writers, including women, off out a flooded of popular novels in the 1700s.
